Planning is important in any big event in people’s lives. When getting married or having a baby we spend months preparing for these life changing events. The same should be true for bariatric surgery.
In this video, I talk about the importance of preparation, both physically and psychologically, for surgery.

It’s good to know that we are all struggling with the same things. I’m yelling more. Not something I’m proud of. People from every corner of my life are “pushing” journaling.
My daughter’s youth group is even using PB&J’s (prayer Bible study and journaling).
It seems like God is trying to tell me something.
The blog is good. We need some updated entries. We’re six months out now. It’s been alot easier in some ways than I thought it would be and a lot harder in others.
I went hiking last weekend who’d a thunk it? LOL
Thank you for your comment Becky. There will be a release every week, so we should be getting a little more caught up.
Journaling is difficult for a lot of us; but what I know as a bariatric professional and what I am learning as a bariatric patient is that it is very important to help keep us on track.
I have found my mood to be better overall, but I am a little more confident and assertive.
